The procedure of Root Canals
Examination and X-Rays - Before the root canal, our dentist will examine your tooth and take X-rays to determine the damage's extent and identify the infection's location.
Anesthesia - Our team will administer a local anesthetic to numb the area around the affected tooth, ensuring a painless procedure.
Removal of Pulp - Our dentist will make a small hole in the tooth and use special tools to remove the damaged pulp from the root canals.
Cleaning and Shaping - Once the pulp is removed, the root canals are thoroughly cleaned and shaped to prepare for the filling material.
Filling Material - A unique filling material replaces the removed pulp and seals the tooth to prevent further infection.
Final Restoration - In some cases, a dental crown may be recommended to strengthen and protect the treated tooth. Our dentist will discuss this option with you and provide a temporary restoration until the permanent crown can be placed.
